A Path to a European Health Union:
the Manifesto

With 34.4 million Europeans affected by hearing loss, untreated hearing challenges have far-reaching impacts on individuals, communities, and healthcare systems across Europe.

HEARRING, in collaboration with the Hearing Health Forum EU, EURO-CIU, and MED-EL, is advocating for a European Hearing Health Strategy to address these pressing issues.

HEARRING Joins the Call for a European Hearing Health Strategy

AENEAS PROJECT

Empowering the Next Generation with Hearing Health Awareness

Our project is designed to educate high school students about the critical importance of regular hearing screenings. Hearing health is often overlooked, despite its key role in our overall well-being. Prevention is the cornerstone of protecting our hearing, not just in old age, but throughout all stages of life.

From exposure to dangerously loud concerts to the aftereffects of illnesses, our ears are constantly at risk of damage in everyday life. By educating younger generations, we aim to inspire them not only to prioritise their own hearing health but also to encourage their family members to get their hearing checked. This ripple effect helps raise awareness across all age groups, fostering a culture of prevention and care.

Through this initiative, we hope to empower students with knowledge that will benefit them and their loved ones for a lifetime.
